Abstract
This study focuses on the logistics cooperation among Member States of the European Community (EU). From that, comparison and implication for logistics cooperation among Southest Asian countries (ASEAN) will be made, putting under the establishment of the ASEAN economic community (AEC). These recommendations are constituted from valuable experiences in cooperation programs among the Member States at the marco level and promoting thedevelopment of logistics enterprises. The study analyzes the period before and after 2015, investigates the turning point in establishing the ASEAN Economic Community. Lessons learnt from the success of the European market for logistics services, is the base for the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) in establishing a common market for logistics services, and enhancing the ability of logistics development plans in the area of logistics operations. Logistics cooperation plays an important role in the formation and development of cooperation among nations, brings about efficiency and ability to trade among countries within the region.
